Operation Details:
These businesses provide workers with first aid or medical training as emergency response or to deliver on site medical services at a variety of work locations, including drilling rigs and construction sites. They may also supply workers with training in first aid to concerts, sporting events and other publicly attended functions.
Businesses which provide on-site emergency medical or emergency response without high angle rescue are to be classified in this industry.
These businesses are not training facilities, and do not offer or arrange for any first-aid or medical training. They provide trained and qualified personnel for the purpose of delivering on-site emergency medical attention and related transportation.

If the health related service or facility is operated by Covenant Health, supplying registered nurses to a health care facility or long term care facility, then the employer should be classified in Industry 82705 - Health Care Services - Covenant Health.
Employers that are not part of Alberta Health Services or Covenant Health and are supplying a labour service to a health care facility or long term care facility would be classified in Industry 82710.
Employers providing onsite emergency medical services including high angle rescue are to be classified in Industry 89928 - Scaffold/Cranes – Rental/Erect.
