Wholesale florists will sell a wide array of products, primarily to retailers, and all will conduct product modification, assembly or value adding activities such as the preparation of floral arrangements; assembly of silk trees and plants, dried or silk flower baskets, etc. Activities which are common within this industry are the cutting and arranging of fresh flowers; the assembly of silk and artificial flowers, plants and and trees; along with extensive distribution services with their own trucks.
